About Glewstone Court

A family.
A house.
Thirty years of weddings.

Glewstone Court has been our home, our restoration project and our wedding venue since 1990. The cedar on the lawn is older still.

Nº. 01 Our Story

A family.
A house.
Thirty years.

Glewstone Court is our Grade II listed Georgian manor house, set in private gardens just outside Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire. We’ve called it home since 1990 and shared it with the couples and families who choose to celebrate here.

We’ve never wanted Glewstone to feel like a venue. It’s a much-loved family house, opened up for your day. When you book Glewstone, you book the lot and you’re looked after by the family whose name is on the door.

Nº. 02 What Guides Us

Three things,
quietly held.

Genuinely Personal

There are no templates or packages forced upon you, the day takes shape around who you are.

Wholly Yours

Exclusive use as standard. One wedding at a time. The whole house, entirely your own.

Quietly Excellent

Award-winning food and surroundings, delivered without fuss.

Nº. 03 Recognition

Awards.
For what they’re worth.

We’re proud to have been voted Best Historic Venue in the West Midlands at the Wedding Industry Awards in both 2025 and 2026, an honour judged entirely on the words of real couples who married here.

The kitchen has 2 AA Rosettes. But the recognition we treasure most is a guest book full of couples who felt completely at home.
